Seeing the welcome and assistance afforded to Ukrainian refugees this year, Eurocadres calls on Member States and the European institutions to guarantee mutual recognition of qualifications and safety at the workplace through increased intervention from labour inspectorates in workplaces containing refugees.

We have seen that our economies and societies benefit from the arrival of these individuals, and call on the European Union to extend the provisions afforded to Ukrainian refugees to all refugees entering the EU, including the above provisions of safety at work and mutual recognition of qualifications. Through the emergency measures taken this year and the provisions of the Blue Card Directive, we see that only a political decision can stop us from extending these rights to all workers.
