Eurocadres welcomes the European Commission’s proposal to revise the European Works Council Directive (Directive 2009/38/EC).

In view of managers being both employees and representatives of the employer (which
requires them to inform and carry out decisions), it is within their interest that important decisions are discussed during the consultation process with both workers and their unions in a timely and appropriate manner.
