Quality traineeships are crucial for young people to acquire skills and access the labour market. Trainees are not given this opportunity if traineeships do not answer specific requirements and clearly defined conditions on issues such as: traineeship duration, the output in terms of skills, the tasks undertaken, remuneration, social protection, tutoring, team size etc.

It is unacceptable that some companies count on traineeships as free workers. Some of them even build their business model based on this concept. It is urgent to stop these abuses especially that it is very
frequent in some sectors.
