Impact of digitalisation on the work of professionals and managers
On the 14th October 2016 the French affiliates of Eurocadres, CFDT Cadres, CFTC-Cadres, CGT-UGICT, FO-Cadres, UNSA and SNES-FSU invited to a European conference in Paris on the impact of digitalisation on the work of professionals and managers.
Speakers from Europe representing national trade unions, Eurofound, the EU Commission and research institutes discussed with around 130 trade unionists from various European countries the impact of digitalisation as well as solutions for the world of work.

Besides the necessity to adapt regulations to the upcoming changes and to develop European ones due to the borderless nature of digitalisation there was the call towards trade unions to innovate and match their policies and structures to the needs of the new forms of employment.
